earlier after i manually saved it it didnt show anything for February 11th.. just 1-10..
-
it doesnt really bother me now since i kno how to manually save but i just dont wanna have to do it early of a morning lol
-
Have you done the Cumulus, Configuration, NOAA Setup... dialog so it looks like this?
In particular the two check-boxes need to be ticked for auto update and auto FTP.
Best regards,
Ken

yep see image below. course i have a /web/ that i changed so it now reads /web/Reports . its Cumulus itself that wont autosave it.. i also changed it from 24hr to 12hr.
-
Does your FTP directory have to be set to '/web/Reports/' or '/Reports/' -- on a linux server, '/Reports/' and '/reports/' are different directoryies (as upper/lower case matters in file and directory names).
-
yea think i have to use /web/reports.. but i dont know..
-
Your website doesn't have a http://www.gosportwx.com/reports/ directory, but it does have a http://www.gosportwx.com/Reports/ directory.
If your main FTP panel says use /web/ as the directory, then the NOAA panel should probably use /web/Reports/ as the directory.
Note the capital R in the latter.
-
ya i changed that earlier forgot to post it as /web/Reports we'll see if it auto updates in the morning if not it wont bother me to manually upload. it's just weird Cumulus didnt autosave it at midnight.. i had to manually save it.. and i had the 2 boxes checked last night as well as /web/Reports.
I appreciate the help you all have given me! :)

i just noticed on my weather wxstatus.php Cumulus NOAA report isnt on there and it was last night ..
this is from wxreport-settings.php
$path_dailynoaa = "./Reports/"; # Location of NOAA monthly files
$path_climatedata = "./"; # WD only -- Location of climatedataout*.html files
$first_year_of_noaadata = "2012"; # First year of dailynoaareport data that is available
$first_year_of_climatedata = "2002"; # WD only -- First year of climatedataout data that is available
Settings-weather.php
$SITE['WXtags'] = './CUtags.php'; // for weather variables
$SITE['ajaxScript'] = './ajaxCUwx.js'; // for AJAX enabled display
$SITE['realtimefile'] = './realtime.txt'; // directory and name of Cumulus realtime.txt file
$SITE['graphImageDir'] = './cumulus/images/'; // directory location for graph images with trailing /
#---------------------------------------------------------------------------
# For NOAA reports
$SITE['NOAAdir'] = './Reports/'; // relative location of the NOAA report files

Mike,
Not sure if this may cause a problem, but my setup has
"NOAAMO"mmyy".txt" but your attachment shows
"NOAAMO"mmyy"."txt" with the extra " I have shown in red
Your "NOAAYR"yyyy".txt" is the same as mine and as you can see does not have the extra ".
Paul
-
ok i changed it . weird thing is it's still not showing anything on my WXstatus.php for NOAA Reports.
-
The include-wxstatus.php does this to check for NOAA reports:
// checks for optional NOAA-style report updates
if($SITE['WXsoftware'] == 'CU' and isset($WX['LatestNOAAMonthlyReport']) and
file_exists($SITE['NOAAdir'].$WX['LatestNOAAMonthlyReport'])) {
do_check($SITE['WXsoftwareLongName']." ".langtransstr("NOAA report"),
$SITE['NOAAdir'].$WX['LatestNOAAMonthlyReport'],24*60*60+10*60,'file');
}
Looking at your CUtags.php?sce=dump shows
$WX['LatestNOAAMonthlyReport'] = 'NOAAMO0213.12:00 AMx12:00 AM';
$WX['LatestNOAAYearlyReport'] = 'NOAAYR2013.txt';
The Yearly one looks right.. the Monthly one is not correct at all! It may be a leftover from early this morning's attempt to set the file name to use. I'd wait until after midnight and see if it corrects itself, and then the status line should show up correctly.
Best regards,
KenMike,

Paul has the correct idea...
Change your NOAA configuration for monthly filename to:
"NOAAMO"mmyy".txt"
and then the value for $WX['LatestNOAAMonthlyReport'] should be 'NOAAMO0213.txt'
-
ok thanks Ken and Paul.. i did verify the "NOAAMO"mmyy".txt" change and now it automatically updates thanks guys!! :D!!
