OK, let me be sure I have understood. Please correct me if I have any of this (below) wrong.
You're running WeatherLink 5.9.2 and some version of the console firmware prior to the current version (1.90).
First:
Now, I keep getting "connection lost" issues.
I'm not sure, but it also seems that it may have lost connection and not upload to CWOP but it will still rapid fire to WU... maybe...
First question: where do you see the "connection lost" message? Second question: What does the WeatherLink log say?
So, WeatherLink frequently can't connect to your web site? That is
http://mysite.verizon.net/vze4fyr3/suffern.pomona.ny/The way I'm reading
http://mysite.verizon.net/vze4fyr3/suffern.pomona.ny/Current_Vantage_Pro_Plus.html, WeatherLink hasn't uploaded to that site since October 2007. But perhaps I'm not looking in the correct place. Where should I look for your main web site data?
I enjoyed the pictures on
http://weather.gladstonefamily.net/site/C5985 - although those folks who like proper height perhaps won't. But how in the heck are you going to get up that flagpole to pack up the Davis ISS and anemometer and move it?
CWOP looks like good data, and your MADIS status is green. Weather Underground looks like it's updating fine, with regular rapid fire.
On the other hand:
- also having Internet issues ... I seem to have access to some websites, but not others...
So, you're having internet connection issues? What kind?
If 5.9.2 has known bugs, and I believe this to be one of them, I don't think it is related to my other problems.
I'm not sure I understand. What "known bug" in 5.9.2 are you referring to? What other problems?
Perhaps you're saying that you have internet issues, but they aren't related to connections?
I was hoping to get some quick easy things to try out.
A. Look at the WeatherLink log file, and see what additional information is there about "connection lost".
B. Go back to whatever version of WeatherLink you previously used (before 5.8.2), and see if that fixes the problem with 5.9.2
C. See what version of console firmware you have, and if it's not 1.90, update your firmware.
