Greetings, the problem:
Data Logger after 13 years of flawless operation somehow got jammed up and would not record data in memory. However, the data logger continued to send data to Davis WL 2 basic. I kept visiting WU, Davis, and CWOP and all data was up to date. When I went to WeatherLink PC to my do usual download to my Excel spreadsheet my "Brouse page" was three days behind with the exception of a couple two day old totally wacky entries. The WeatherLink kept displaying ~300 entries for downloading, but they never actually recorded. I called Davis and we went through a lot of resets and ultimately the ~300 or so of five-minute entries was gone. Furthermore, I had to download a couple of more entries and clear the memory to kill off the one that was jamming up the logger.
Now it is working and recording as it has for the past 13 years - no problems. I went into my browse records and deleted the obviously corrupt entries. This leaves me with three days of missing data from point of corruption to point of discovery. I then went to WU and CWOPs and found all of the missing data was still being uploaded and therefore not lost, sort of. WU and CWOPS records in 15-minute intervals and my WL PC records in 5 minutes but I can easily live with that loss.
The Solution:
I have converted the WU and CWOP data into a csv file. However, I simply cannot remember how to get that data imported into my WLK. Does anybody have a better memory than me on that topic? - it would be greatly appreciated.
