Gust is incorrect in the app
« on: September 29, 2021, 07:17:23 AM »
To be more specific, the gust is correct but not in the graph below, you can see that so far my max gust is 27mph, yet the graph below does not reflect this.

Similar issue with mobilze website too, today I've had 0.6mm, mobilze says 0.8 under the weather heading  yet under the soil moisture section, it says 0mm but it's correct in the mobilze app don't get me started on the mobilze website and a smartphone, they just do not work well together, you can't zoom in unless you zoom where the top nav bar is and even when you manage that, things get messy and scrolling becomes an issue :/

the gust has only just occured in the last 10 minutes
and since that graph is hourly, with the latest graph position being an hour earlier, then it should show up in an hours time I would suggest

Thanks for the reply but, don't believe what that last 10 minutes says,
WD reported 27mph at 11:53 am, the time on my phone that the screenshot
was taken says 12:01, so that last 10 minutes is wrong for a start, but it was also
1hr and 6 minutes after that 27mph gust happened.

In the WL app it says in the records at the bottom that the 27mph was at 11:54am
so there's another wee discrepancy, granted, not much of one but still, its there
Kind regards

does it now show in the graph for the next 1 hour plot position?

It is now showing in that graph, yes, not sure when it showed up though as its nearly 12hrs ago now.
Just looking at the graphs on the WL site, i do not see a data point for wind gusts, just windspeed
and Average, the highest windspeed at that time of day is showing as only 19mph as shown in the tooltip
in the image below, not sure what that's all about unless its actually what it says it is and not gust speed
Is it the actual mean windspeed?

Kind regards

11:53 is within 10 minutes of 12:01 ??

The WLL uploads to wl.com once a minute, so as the gust occurred at 12:53:<something>, then it would be uploaded at 12:54.

Ive gotten confused somewhere because i questioned it as it was just over an hour late
going on to that graph, that's for sure, but as it was yesterday, i ain't got a clue now lol

re the minute discrepancy, i get it, that makes sense, thanks, i just wish it was that easy
with regard to the Mobilize section on the website, that's so far behind and missing data
compared to the app version, it's unreal
See the two images below, the rainfall amount on the website version is so far out its crazy
even now, we've had 0.4mm this morning and the website version of mobilize says 0, but
the ap version shows it correctly.

Dont get me started on trying to use the web version of both weatherlink and Mobilize on a
smartphone, its impossible, certainly for my Note 20 Ultra...
Kind regards

Bashy, I need to look at the raw data to see if I can see what the issue it. This will take some time.
On the surface, it does look like there is an issue.
