data munged up?
« on: May 22, 2008, 11:07:40 PM »
Look at my rain summary... I should have years 2005-2007... haven't tried anything yet...

Reports/NOAA Summarize Year menu choices shows rain data for those years...

How do the other NOAA reports look?

Other NOAA look fine... as mentioned, I pulled "Reports"/"NOAA Summarize Year Data" from the menu system, and all the years had rain data showing... (any other NOAA reports in mind?)

I looked through the raw data, which was a bit tedious because in 2006 I had 1 minute logging intervals--so there's a TON of rows. But I did see rainfall numbers in the raw data...

I'm thinking it's no big deal, but curious anyway...

Just delete the rain.db file in your station folder.  After that click on the rain database button in WeatherLink.  It will mention that there is not a rain.db folder and if you would like to create one.  Say yes and everything should be created properly based on your wlk files.

Well... that certainly worked!

Is that fix documented somewhere? Or learned the hard way?

Thanks much!

Some of my data was messed up so what I did first was make a backup in another folder and then tried deleting it, and it worked

FWIW (for future references) - clicking "NEW" in the Rain menu will regenerate the rain database, as I just found out...
