My thoughts (Davis VP2 wish list) on things that might help in remote station setups (before modification)
- Rain collector latching/locking mechanism requires a positive locking system not just a insert and turn
- Much better designed rain collector debris screen
- Rain collector cable needs to be a little longer (currently too short) and about the same output length as temp/humidy sensore cable
- ISS enclosure cover/solar-panel requires better sealing and positive locking system much like the small system enclosure but even better
- Better cable entry and sealing into ISS
- External backup connector (internal batteries totally useless in a remote situation)
- External antenna capability for both ISS and Logger housing
