Title: save dialog internal error 12291
Post by: Stan on August 01, 2022, 06:31:13 PM
Hi Everyone,

weatherlink 6.0.5 gives me an error when trying to export the downloaded data. It says internal error 12291, any ideas? Thanks

I found the issue by myself - the solution is to save a file to "document" folder in windows. I never ever use this folder, butt this works. Weatherlink doesn´t allow me to save the exported file directly to my dedicated directory. Besides, is there any more slick way how to export nice graphs? I managed to export just black and white, not very appealing charts. Just wondering, because I would rather something quick and nice from weatherlink than creating anything in a spreadsheet... Thanks

That's probably a Windows error rather than a Weatherlink error.

Screen grabs are the easiest way to capture graphs.

I can export/save to any folder/directory I choose... Was the folder you trying to save to write protected or of different ownership or did it have a "special character" in it's name?
