Complete Firmware Reset of GW1100

I am replacing my GW1100 with the GW2000. How do I completely reset the GW1100 and remove all data?

two possibilities:
1. press the front button in the middle for 10-15 seconds (it has three pressing positions: left, middle, right)
2. insert a paper-clip end into the hole at the reverse side (center, between the first two slits ) for 10-15 seconds
both should result in a factory reset

Sorry, but I do not see a front button on the GW1100, just a reset pin switch in the back.

never mind - the one on the reverse side is enough  8-)
in the front there is this large button - RF - middle - WiFi
the middle portion of this black button

in chapter 3.1 - page 14 - it says:
3.1.2 Button functions
The black button is used for the reset mode:
Reset Mode: Hold the black button for about 5
seconds will reset the gateway to factory default
reset state. All the history data, Wi-Fi settings,
calibration and sensor labeling etc. are all lost
and need to be set again.

And a good way to find out is pressing it  \:D/ - but I'd save the calibration values and rain totals and custom server data (if any) beforehand - because, surprise - surprise, it could mean what they write ...   :evil:

Thanks. I was too busy/lazy to RTFM.

I will try that before retiring. I also have a HP2561 setup, which the the main driver. This and the GW2000 are mainly for playing around with.
