Is it possible to extract the datas from the nearest metar ?

Is it possible to extract the data from the nearest metar and put it on my web page.

For the moment, I'm including cloudbase and Visibility calculated by weewx but the Metar station next door is much more realistic.

I panned the map from the US NOAA METAR site to France. I am not sure exactly which metar you are near, but there is a text product that you can embed into your web page.

For example, LFSD (Dijon/Lonvec) looks like this:

https://tgftp.nws.noaa.gov/data/observations/metar/decoded/LFSD.TXT

I am sure that there are "fancier" ways to get the data, but this was the most up-to-date method I could find. (other than listening directly to the airport METAR at 118.125MHz on my radio)

I use the data from my local METAR at my website: http://rogerscityweather.com/wxmetar.php

There is also a graph. I don't know if the French meteorological agency offers something similar. If so, that might be your best bet.

There's an excellent product by NirSoft that provides Metar info from around the world. https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/mweather.html

I run this program as a cron job to build XML, upload it to my site, then make the results available on a page showing regional conditions. https://www.tylertexasweather.com/etxtemps.htm

How to you get "cloudbase" in WeeWX please? I would like to use it in a web page generated by WeeWX.
