Title: Running VM95 in windows 7 (got it working)
Post by: david s on October 27, 2014, 01:48:47 AM
Hey guys first time poster,

Just wanted to say thanks for the info and that I have VM95 running in windows 7 64bit using the virtual XP mode.
Windows 7 has the ability to run a virtual XP machine which allows VM95 to run seamlessly.

I've found you need to keep the machine size small, so in Windows 7 I have a network share setup and from within XP I save the files to the network shared folder.
If you save the images to the XP machine, the XP virtual machine will keep expanding in size and its rather difficult to reduce the partition size.

I've also got the camera(s) connected to a Lantronics Ubox which is similar to a USB extender except it's USB2.0 and runs over ethernet.

How much RAM did you dedicate to your virtual machine?
