In case anyone else runs into this, IPTimelapse works best with the RTSP stream. On Reolink's cameras, it may not be turned on by default.
In the Reolink Windows software, you access the camera. Go into Network, scroll down to Server Settings and click on that.
You'll find RTSP checkbox. Check that. If you plan on recording to a NVR, you can check the ONVIF box. Otherwise you don't need it.
You can also setup a read only user for IPTL to use. Don't use the "@" symbol in user name or password. I found that out the hard way.
But then you can use the IP of your camera, and those logins, and plug this into your IPTL configuration.
rtsp://username:password@192.168.1.102 . The @ symbol is used to signify the login half, vs. the IP address. And that's why you can't have the @ symbol in username or password...
