I just noticed that NOAA added an arrow graphic in the icons section in the printable pinpoint forecast page:

I added a folder and the image to my site, and the script seems to handle the extra graphic ok; however, I wonder what the arrow is for?  Also, the scripts required that the arrow be put in a different folder than the other "forecast icons" - wierd.

Anyone have any info on it?

The up arrow next to a low temperature just means that the temperatures will be rising through the night.  You will occasionally see a down arrow next to a high temperature as well, which would indicate a daytime high achieved in the morning and temperatures falling through the afternoon.

You can expect to see these in our area a few times a year.

Thank you for the reply. Hmm, that makes sense.  I had never seen it before.  Does anyone have the down arrow? (might as well put it in the folder as well)

You were right, the icons were in my icon directory; however, for some reason, NOAA had the arrows stored on another part of their server (so I had to create another directory on my site).
