Can someone in europe more specifically  , Italy, find this chap (OP) a reliable, known brand  UPS , 600VA is more than sufficient, anything else would be excess and cost more. ?

i went through the sites, and sure I can throw out some models , but I have no idea on price.

I think a specific link to the item will be required.
An APC BR1200XI costs 152 EUR at amazon.it
(just think of also including the router and the modem and some RPi if you use one as weather server).
Will be able to cover for a few hours of blackout (of course depending on what all you connect to it).

I think that is overkill for the application. Something 600VA would work more than fine, that unit is 1200VA  (noted by model number, and I looked at it) . I mean it would work, but, maybe a bit much.

Although, I get your other loads you suggested, so  OK.  But up to yall to suggest a unit for the OP

I was sharing information.  The more you know the better decisions you make.

No problem though. I will try not to post on threads you have posted to avoid any further conflict if that is your preference.

Have a good day.

WD40, you can always PM me. I may not always have the right answers. I do strive to help those who post that maybe I have experience in the field or area. Please don't take offense if I don't agree with the purpose of your post. I am a nobody here, just voicing my opinion.

The posts that are made, here, are ultimately used for posterity for others that do searches for answers. It is not , in my opinion a chat channel , to just throw out thoughts, unless there is a basis.

You have a nice day as well.

Thank you to everyone who has shared their input to help me!  ;)

In my specific case, I would only use the UPS to power the HP2561 weather station during a blackout, as the modem is located in a different part of the house.
If there are any European users (even better if Italian) who have advice on the matter, it would be greatly appreciated.

I will try to look for products that might suit my needs and, if I don't receive reliable information to follow, I will carry out tests by purchasing the most suitable device.

You could consider a mini DC ups ( it will give you a few more DC options 5V, 9V 12V etc.. )
depends on how long you have blackout ( ideal for short interruptions )

Thank you for your interest and response.
From what I’ve been able to verify, the rare blackouts that have occurred didn’t last more than 30 minutes.
