Odd ...  I just noticed the WS85 is reporting RAINING at the sensor.

I am not  home but just checked the camera ... Clear blue skies at 7:45am and 99% humidity at 55F, dew point is 54.6F.

It's not raining !

Now I've never notice this before, it could do this every day when dew is sitting on top of the WS85 until it burns off ...  BUT ...  I also just updated the Ecowitt App (not WSView Plus) on Android to v1.1.53

So is it ...
1. The app?
2. Or normal with morning dew and that I've never noticed?

that was my first thought too, but, it turns out that
it's nevertheless a GW3000 firmware issue ...
WSV+ 2.0.56 will display the calibration page properly on GW3000 1.0.5

Sorry don't understand, the information is correct on the GW3000 HTTP page for Calibration on f/w 1.0.4, but wrong on the WSView+ app!

I have just checked the Rel Offset with WSView+ for both my GW2000 and GW3000 and the GW2000 shows 39 with M for metres, but on my GW3000 it shows 39 with HPA still using the latest 2.0.56. I did force stop the app and deleted its cache but sill shows HPA on the GW3000!

the label correction is on the Ecowitt correction list and will come with GW3000 1.0.5 - replace "Rel Offset" in hPa  by "Altitude for REL" in m (or ft)

worked out a cheeky get-around for this issue, setting the range of your incoming measurement upper bound to 358°

wont work with all software, but we have replaced every single component of our system, from station, to console, to earthing, to the lot as like OP and ended up just accepting the wind direction would be a dud. UNTIL TODAY  \:D/ happens i use vws and thus was able to set the upper bound to 358°

in vms the previous good value is used and thus no spurious 359° spike and if the wind is in the direction we only loose a single degree of accuracy on 359° exact where the reported result will be 0° or 358° when the wind is on 359°

I've signed up just to make this post because this issue plagued us for year(s) so many years... and finally finally... i have a flat graph of wind direction!

Look in Settings.php

I missed this line "WAZ307|North Bend|https://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?lat=47.4954&lon=-121.7869&unit=0&lg=english&FcstType=text&TextType=2"

All good now. Thanks Ken.

I just searched my forecastwx file and advforecast2 file and don't see anything with WAZ555 anymore. I changed all of those on the 19th when the zones changed.

This is my setting in the advforecast2 file... $NOAAZone = 'WAZ307'; // change this line to your NOAA warning zone.
