is it only the outside temperature which is missing or also the outddor humidity ?
Can you post a picture of the console display ? How old is your WS80 ?
Is the T/RH sensor under the radiation shield (remove it, two screws) replaceable ? = can you just pull it out and put it back again (it may be loose)
A reset of the WS80 sensor array would be the next thing to think of
1. soft reset: press the reset button on the array for >5 seconds
2. (if 1. not successful) hard reset:
remove batteries, cover the top portion (solar panel) tightly with black tape and wait for the blue LED to "die" (can take up to 72 hours)
Once the LED is no longer blinking, re-insert the batteries.
If neither works, we have to think of a replacement of the T/RH sensor (which for the newer WS80 models is an easy thing to do - hence the 2nd question above)
if you have a newer model with a replaceable T/RH sensor, get yourself a new SHT30 (default) or SHT35 (extra precision) sensor from Ecowitt:

if still in the warranty period, ask Ecowitt or your seller for a T/RH sensor replacement; otherwise buy one.

so you should check if the sensor is loose - if not, go for the reset options mentioned earlier.
The sensor inside the radiation shield.

FYI .
The watson 8686 is a clone of the Fine OfFset HP2550.
As the unit is 25ft at the top of my antenna mast it may take a few days before i get the oppertunity to check the sensor.
Thanks..
