New blog post is up! This is a new product with LoRa radio which really opens up some very interesting possibilities for receiving and hacking the data with simple IoT devices, not to mention distance and reliability of signal. Please let me know what you think, any suggestions, and what you would like to see next. So many possibilities like embedded web server, creation of realtime.txt for website templates (already working on that), Gateway for MQTT, Thingspeak, Home Assistant.. those are just off the top of my head, what else can you think of?

Thanks, Rob

I just got my RainmanWeather LoRa unit and was excited to find this blog. I want to check the range on the base unit.

But, it will not compile. A problem with a library being changed/updated -  error: 'i2c_err_t' does not name a type; did you mean 'esp_err_t'?

Anyone recently get the program to compile?

Tnx
