Rainwise Mark III wind sensor pinout
« on: April 28, 2023, 04:07:50 PM »
I've got a few older ones which were working at one point, and a newer one in which the wind speed stopped working. I can't find anything on the Rainwise site about pin outs to test to see if there is a bad reed switch or other problem.

There is an RJ-45 on the bottom of the aerovane sensor and I'd like to lust plug a bit of CAT-5 cable in to see if I get switch closures with I rotate them, hoping to find a working one to swap out until I can budget for buying a replacement one.

I'm hoping somone knows the pin out of the head so I might test the ones I have in the back corner of the shed.  Dale
