GW1000 Direct Configuration option

Just in from Ecowitt...

This route allows you (assuming you know the allocated IP address of your GW1000 from your router) to configure via WSView
This option is useful if you are having trouble finding the device on WSview in the first place to configure

This seems to be for the case only, where/when the pairing with the router (Ecowitt term: router configuration) was already successful (which usually also is done via WSView - or with the Windows-Router-Connect tool) and the device doesn't appear in the device list. Or am I misreading the (Ecowitt) forum post ?

Sorry, yes badly worded on my part!

If after initial setup (wifi connection) you still cannot see the GW1000 in the WSView app then follow this process!

No problem  8-) - I'll be integrating this and the Windows Connect tool option into the WiFi connection thread.  :-)
So we have as many options as possible available in one place for those in need to look up.  8-)
