MeteoTracker - a new mobile weather sensor system

The product was created to meet the need for reliable basic meteorological data, even when moving on our cars or campers.
As we know, almost all modern cars have external temperature sensors, but we also know how unreliable they are in the readings, due to the remarkable slowness of measurement, the inadequate shielding, the thermal transfers due to the hot asphalt in the summer months, the heat generated by the engine, the car body etc ...

The MeteoTracker project, which is able to detect temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, and relative altitude, allows, thanks to sophisticated algorithms capable of discerning the errors due to direct solar radiation, to obtain very fast measurements and with accuracy comparable to those of a fixed meteorological station with the advantage of being able to monitor such data during our movements, thus allowing us to effectively analyze phenomena such as thermal inversions, the vertical thermal gradient etc ...

https://www.meteotracker.com/

All the data that MeteoTracker will record during our journey will be stored on the cloud through a convenient app and will be easily accessible later, with the possibility of selecting the update frequency, sharing data online and many other functions that are difficult to summarize in a few lines, visiting the official website will show you the countless functions of this project and if you subscribe to the newsletter you will receive all the updates on the product and on the time of release on the market, expected within the year.

The MeteoTracker crowdfunding campaign started on Kickstarter!

You can support the campaign to bring the project life at this link https://bit.ly/3dRVVJJ

The crowdfunding is aimed at funding the fixed cost needed to start the first serial production (molding, certification, PCB, etc...).

The concept was turned into a project in late 2017 and now it is at an advanced prototype stage, ready to go into production.

Me and Timoteo Galia founded an innovative startup to carry our the project and thanks to our collaborators we were able to design and develop all the parts involved: PCB, App mobile, SW infrastructure (full stack) and mechanical case. Also, we got a patent for the radiation error correction system.

Have a look and if you think that the project is worthy to be brought to life, support us!

Thanks!

I remind you that there are a few days left until crowdfunding closes. Book your MeteoTracker:  https://bit.ly/3dRVVJJ

It would be great to support this project.

Just yesterday I spoke again with the creators of this project and they told me about other sensors that are being developed to create a complete mobile station for cars, boats, hang gliders, paragliders, bicycles, cycles, etc. such as anemometer, PM 2.5, solar radiation, cloud cover and so on.

MeteoTracker API integration!  💪
First successful MeteoTracker data integration on a fixed station weather map (the Sardegna Clima Onlus stations network, the biggest and best managed in Sardinia).
Thanks to the great work of our team, every weather network can now integrate MeteoTracker data in its weather map, adding a valuable insight into weather and climate knowledge of its region.
Thanks to Alberto Zilaghe for his great session (and the wonderful Metephotos) run in the highest mounts of Sardinia.
