Title: OS Rain Guage, How to test?

Rain guage isn't reporting anything on an OS WM918-Wired.  Is there any way to test continuity or expected resistance?  I have a feeling it's a cable problem but I'm wondering about the tip-bucket sensor and mechanism also.

I had the same station. The junction box got wet and I lost everything. OS was nice and sent me a new box. It worked great after that. 8-)
