I'm setting up a new laptop for my WL USB. The problem is during the internet portion there's a password necessary, and of course it's *******, and I see no way to "see" it and I did it years ago so am clueless. Searching has been no joy. If someone also has all the other internet settings available, that would save me some aggravation as well. Thanks!

Hooking up my console with WL USB to computer so to put data online requires a whole bunch of internet settings. It also requires a password that I have no idea what it is. There was a tutorial about it, but I can't find it anymore.

Most likely it seems like you are referring to your Weatherlink.com account You just need to ask for a password reset (via "forgot my password" links) which works with just about any online account/service. Then you make a note of your new credentials and change it anywhere that might need it.

You might also be able to pull a password from your browser if you let your browser save passwords. Exact steps will vary depending on browser used.

I'll try....I've never done it.

That was fast. How do you take a screen shot of my WL window?

Best way to grab a screenshot of just a portion of the screen is with the Windows Snip & Sketch tool.

You probably can't attach a picture that you've taken with a camera because the picture will likely be larger than the maximum size allowed by the forum software. You could reduce the resolution of the picture and then attach it, but it would be simpler and easier to just take a screenshot with the Snip & Sketch tool. The image created by the Snip & Sketch tool will not exceed the size limit of the forum.

That's what I used. I try to copy the image, which it apparently allows me to do, but it won't paste to the forum reply box. I'm getting a headache. Thanks for trying.

That looks like your APRS/CWOP settings for Weatherlink to upload for you.  I don't have my Weatherlink PC upload to CWOP so can't check the Weatherlink settings.  Is there any settings or other file in your Weatherlink folder on your computer that might have that recorded.  I use Cumulus to upload to CWOP and the Cumulus.ini file shows the upload informations as:
Quote
[APRS]
ID=DW3930
pass=-1
server=cwop-aprs-net
port=14580
Enabled=1
Interval=9
SendSR=1

Enjoy,
Paul

It is, and your particular wording led me to this link, but much is left out compared to my present settings. I'll give it a go.

Thank you sir.

I knew that screen looked familiar. Been so long since I used it.
Thats the password for your ISP.
Peruse their site and you can probably find a link to reset it or call them up and they could probably send you a link.
