Olympus SP500UZ as Weather Camera
« on: January 01, 2021, 11:55:59 PM »
Getting back online after moving and decided to use a Windows 10 box. Downloaded IPTimelapse software but my trusty Olympus SP500UZ while seems to be detected by Windows 10, is not seen by IPTimelapse. On the laptop I was testing, it sees the built in web camera but never sees the USB device.Testing on a PC now to see if that will work. What am I missing here?

I tested on my desktop with the same results. The camera is seen on the USB but IPTimeLapse never sees it. Plugged in a a Prostram webcam and it was seen as soon as I clicked the refresh button. Does anyone have a SP500UZ working on Windows 10 with IPTimelapse? I plugged it back in to my Win 7 laptop and the older Sebec Tec software picked it right up.

Thanks,

Todd

Website says IPTimeLapse supports USB cameras (and lots of other stuff), but I wonder if the Olympus is not recognized as that.
I'm still running on an old, small laptop with Windows7 and SebecTec Webcam for Olympus SP-500UZ.
