Battery Status
« on: July 07, 2021, 02:50:39 PM »
So, I might be in the wrong place and please direct me if I am.
Davis Vantage Pro 2 weather station running latest version of Weather Display software, running wireless. I recently had a glitch and found out it was the battery in the transmitter. I replaced the battery and all seems fine for now.
My problem is this, I believe the battery status use to show up on my web page but now I have to go into the Weather Display software under View, find the battery Icon and click on that. So if that is the procedure, then problem 2, all the battery levels read 0%.
Wrong place, bad something, totally all wrong? Any suggestions or direction?

Thanks for any help!

Thanks to Budgie over on the Weather Display forum:
The battery status window in WD is for the Oregon Scientific WMR918 and other OS models.

The battery status for the VP2 ISS and other transmitters only shows as "OK" in WD until the low battery warning shows on the console. You'll find it under View > Davis VP/Vue Extra Sensor Info > Transmitter Battery Status. It will also show here when a battery is low.
