I didn't mean to keep to solution secret - I only meant to say that when/if we are not successful with our assessments and tests, we will present the case to the Meteobridge fora.
If/when we find the solution, we will surely present it in the wxforum.
Now, for the next steps, @kd7eir will need to have a thunderstorm with a good number of strikes nearby ...

Why am I getting RC-301, Unable to process file from Weather-Display Clientraw Parser.
Everything seems to work, correct readings are going to my website.

If we don't find a solution, we will post in the Meteobridge board (in wxforum or/and in meteohub.com).

I suggest to post the solution even in the case you find a solution.

I will definitely post any solution. Asking for help publicly and then hoarding the answer is ridiculous.

Virtual Weather Station / Re: VWS and 4k Resolution
« Last post by dret on Today at 02:55:38 PM »
As a workaround - on WIN 10
I close VWS and change the display resolution to 1920 x 1080 with 125% scaling.
Then Start VWS, once stabilized
I change the resolution back to 4k 3840 x 2160 with 250% scaling.
VWS window needs to be adjusted but after that I can read it just fine.

Yes, I'm still running VWS and it has migrated through 3 computers over the years.
I have not found anything I like to replace it yet.

DRET

Humidity drops low at night when it should rise. The CWOP analysis and my readings are opposite curves over night. CWOP hits around 90% and mine reads around 35%. From the search I did it looks like my sensor is faulty or dieing. I changed it about 5 years ago to the better resolution sensor and bought a spare at the time since they were being phased out. Before I change the sensor is there any test/reset to try? I'm doing a salt calibration check now just to confirm the readings.
Thanks.

Thanks Paul!

I had the station as Vantage Pro2 and not WLL. Corrected that and it's all good now.

Thanks everyone!

When going through the wizard, I initially had the wrong IP address of the WLL. I then went into settings in Cumulus and corrected it. Could that be an issue?

If in the Weatherlink Live settings you [tick] Enable Auto-Discovery then you do not need to enter the IP address as CMX will find it for you.

[EDIT]
Just to get on the right track, after you have done the Station setup and the Weatherlink Live settings perhaps stop CMX, and then restart so that at start it finds the correct station.

Enjoy,
Paul

Hi Rickoo,
From that screen capture it looks like the program is running with a station selected, but not enough in that capture to show the full start up information.
If you go to \CumulusMX\MXdiags and open the latest 20210801-xxxxxxx file it will have the full diagnostics and what is happening and if any errors.  There will be a new MXdiags started each time Cumulus is stopped and restarted.

As galfert mentioned you can use the Settings => Config Wizard to do the basic settings needed to get it working and displaying data (make sure you select Station settings, General Settings, Station Type as Davis Weatherlink Live, and then the tab Davis Weatherlink Live.  Or go through each of the Setting items to set it to your system.

If you are still having a problem zip up that MXdiags file and we can have a look.

Enjoy,
Paul
