Yeah, cool - but my $29 Google Mini already does that.  What WOULD be cool is if the Pi project used MY Davis.

You can get YOUR Davis data via voice command if you upload to Ambientweather.net. All you need is their WeatherBridge device or a Meteobridge with the added Ambientweather.net license. There are many forms of the Weatherbridge/Meteobridge which you can choose to integrate, standard, PRO, NANO.

Then either Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa skills get configured to the Ambientweather.net API. No programming required. It is just a matter or setting up the accounts on each service/device.

Of course this isn't limited to Davis hardware as current Ambient stations that upload to Ambientweather.net also have this capability.
