Half of May 3 and most of May 4 WU data is missing when I go back and look.

I didn't notice because I use my Davis WeatherLink charts and data which are always complete and reliable.

WU was down today, Thursday, May 6, 2021 from...
2:04 PM EDT to
4:04 PM EDT

WU was down for precisely 2 hours.
This sure does look like it was purposeful.
How can there be only 1 (one) WU Server?

Why would they change? As long as people keep sending them data, they'll keep giving you their substandard, "outta-the-box-hook-it-right-up-to-WU" PWS monopolized product.

AFAIC, I see three choices, quit complaining, do something about it, or move on. I chose the latter.

Couldn’t agree more, however I do enjoy the complaining, it’s entertaining to say the least lol

Normally I'd agree with you but they are asking us for data on equipment we paid for so they can use it to make money. IBM wouldn't have purchased them if there wasn't big money to be made.

They are neglecting what was once a good platform.

Well we at least have the always reliable WU gold star concept. NOT! It is always so unreliable and changes from day-to-day, it is a joke—embarrassing is a better choice of words.

Wow, finally responded.

Have dealt with Victoria in the past and my confidence in her finding a resolution is not very high.

How will it work going forward then? I always found NEXRAD to be quite useful to quickly see what was coming.

The ultimate radar tool for me has always been "Radarscope" on my Android Pixel 3XL. I have the Pro subscription and it is a professional grade tool. I like that it is always in my pocket and ready to go. What do you guys use?

For my Pixel 4a, it's RadarScope hands down.  PC?  I have WSV3.  It does both Level 2 and Level 3 radar and is incredibly versatile with model depictions and the like.  I bought it when you could still buy a lifetime license and still have that.  Now, if you buy WSV3 it's a subscription model.  Nothing wrong with that, but can get pricey and I was glad I got it when I did.

TBH their data gathering hasn't worked on my station properly for some time, specifically the UV.  I'm just about ready to cut my ties with them after providing data from several different stations since 2005 (ah, those were the days).  I still pump data to both CWOP and PWS, so I'm not really losing anything.  They were never able to get my webcam down so that's literally strike two.  Since IBM bought them (and actually before that) WU has gone to s**t.

WU should be wanting to hold onto users like you guys who know how to properly site a temperature sensor and or use good quality weather station equipment
