I assume you are referring to setting up the primary ISS? I was waiting until some construction around the house was complete before i set up the rest of the station.
Suppose someone only needed to monitor wind, which was my original intent, it only functions properly by having to connect a rain gauge and thermometer?

1. you can try getting the two pipes of the U-piece leveled by having them bent - may need special tools
2. put some material between the U-end where the WS80 sits and the first (top) bracket holding the WS80 pipe so it will compensate the tilt and become vertical.

I was actually thinking about #2 as i was looking at the pictures closely last night. I really didn’t want to take it down again and was going to leave it seeing both seem on par with each other.
Worsr case i have another U bracket. Not sure how it got twisted as it appears the vp anny is straight. One thing i also noticed is that bottom part of the pole of the ws80 is sitting on top of the u bracket holding the transmitter iinstaed of flush with U mast it sits on causing a tilt. I guess i wasn’t paying attention as i was assembling this on my roof.
When i took the ws80 down to add everything i noticed the original plastic bracket was cracked and the one you see is something i found around the house

I haven’t setup the primary ISS yet. Only currently using the wireless transmitter and console.
Everything else works just fine. The wind displays on the console just not on the app

The update mainly improves low wind speed: it is more stable. Thus, if you have it working in high wind speed conditions, you won't notice much of the difference. At night, when the wind is calm, it might be somehow different.

I connected my Ambient weather station WS 2902D's console with my phone for test with my home WIFI. But when I want to change the WIFI to new source as it will be used in different place I am not able to connect to my console. It asks password, where as earlier there was no password used. You can see lock symbol in in console's WIFI network in the attached file. I tried to do factory reset also(by removing power cable and battery for some time), still it requires password. Because of this I am not able to access console and change to new WFI. AW's customer care is not supporting. Please help me to solve the problem. Thanks

If the anemometer is on a separate transmitter then check that you have set up the 'primary ISS' correctly.

See the section 'Setting a primary ISS' at: https://www.manula.com/manuals/pws/davis-kb/1/en/topic/6313-console-set-up-and-tweaks
