WH1080 style usb data output

Hi All

I have a Rpi running some APRS software, I would like to plug my USB output from the wh1080 to the Pi and use a bit of software to take the data and create a wxnow.txt I can use with APRS software..
I did do some searching but cant seem to find anything that takes the raw USB data and creates a wxnow.txt file from it.

someone told me its out there.... unfortunately my coding skills are lacking to write my own code.

would anyone know of such software to do this?
