seem to have gotten slower over the years. Now I see that Road Runner is going to start charging rent on my 15 year old modem they just nickle and dime use to death

LOL Anything other than text takes forever to load. a 1MB picture takes 10 minutes.

Here is our test result. I guess its not too terrible since it is unlimited everything b ut kinda slow comapred to most.

Just a plain old DSL connection here in the UK - but living 100m from the telephone exchange gives a good speed

This represents Suddenlink's rather recent speed upgrade from 10mbps to 15mbps. The cost is $38 a month. I think it's their intermediate speed offering.
