Title: iPhone 6 rumors
Post by: Aardvark on March 20, 2014, 03:02:24 PM
I saw the below link on the rumored iPhone 6.  My phone is a 4S and is working fine, but in June I am eligible for an upgrade. However, maybe I will hold out if the weather options are in the new unit.

Of course all of this is rumor and could be far from the truth.

I think they are already beginning to make weather station products geared toward smartphones.

Harumph.  Android has been doing this for years now..specifically the S3 and S4 Galaxy phones.

Plus, all of my Google Nexus devices (Nexus 5 phone, made by LG; Nexus 7 tablet, made by Asus and my new Nexus 10 tablet, made by Samsung) all have these sensors (temp, hum, baro).

I remember seeing many of the iPhone fanboy users seeing these new features on Android phones and lamenting how 'stupid' they were.  I find it kind of funny now.

it was my impression these options would be built in and not external controlled devices.
