ASOS and Ice

K2GW:
Saw an interesting Surface observation from KTTN at 3PM on Thursday as the front approached.  Temp was 33 F and the ASOS reported "Unknown Precipitation".  Guess it could not  tell when it was rain, graupel, or sleet; just wet.
