Topic: WD opens twice

Sometimes on restarting PC, Weather Display has started opening as two instances, usually one is running apparently correctly - but the other does not start downloading data. The dead instance can be closed manually.
Now this is not a big problem but today I see it started 4 instances 
Any ideas what's going on?

It's an XP pro machine with 2GB of RAM, and nothing else runs on it except MSE antivrus.
It doesn't always do it, maybe 3 times out of 5.
I've installed the last 2 or 3 newest version of WD so should be a good copy but I feel a windows registry entry for it is wrong maybe?

I may have fixed this - manually removed the program from start up list (thinking I would manually return it after a reboot) - but WD still started on it's own (one instance) anyway!
The entry in start up list has not returned so I'm guessing it was starting once from there and once all by itself...

Mine was doing the exact same thing.  I remedied it by doing the opposite though. I turned off the auto start from within WD and left it in the Start Up folder.  On reboot, it still opens, but only once.
