Title: about wxforum.net outage today (24-Jan-2023)

You may have noticed the forum was unavailable today between 8:00am and 8:55am Pacific.  Ionos.com had a major problem with the virtual servers.

Since I have 3 instances with them, all three were non-communicative during that interval:

Saratoga-weather.org (and multiple regional network sites)

wxforum.net and northamericanweather.net

wxradio.org (SSL streaming host for noaaweatherradio.org which is separately hosted).

The attached shows the outage best by the network traffic going to nil during the period.  I'm guessing that a major router or bogus router config in their internal network rendered the virtual servers unreachable (and therefore 'offline').  The servers continued to run, just couldn't contact the internet and vice-versa.

Full connectivity was restored around 8:55am by Ionos tech services.
