Hello,
I received my WiFiLogger yesterday and set it up. It was pretty easy to setup. I setup the CWOP export to rotate.aprs.net with my callsign and password. I set it to upload every 15 minutes. But I keep seeing online the servers didn't get the upload. I see it being 30-45 minutes and even a hour a couple times. Other times it will receive the 15 minute uploads. You can see the received uploads for my station at
http://www.findu.com/cgi-bin/wx.cgi?call=N3FWE
Other stations in my area seem to have no issues. Any suggestions what is going on? Right now the station is in the same room as the router so it's not a signal strength issue. I had a continuous ping going to rotate.aprs.net and didn't see any dropped pings when it happen. So my Comcast connection seems good.

Try changing server set to the CWOP set and see if it makes a difference.
cwop.aprs.net
Password: -1
I would also increase the upload to the max allowed, every 5 minutes at least to better gauge upload consistency. Not sure if you have a special requirement or data restrictions to warrant for 15 minute uploads.
I'm not a ham so I use the cwop.aprs.net and I've never seen a missed upload and I'm uploading every 5 minutes. Hams can use the CWOP servers but not the other way around.

I'm also not using a WiFiLogger. So my recommendation test is mearly to rule out a problem with the rotate ham servers.

Hams are recommended to use rotate aprs.net. My future plans are to send the weather stats over the air via APRS so it has to come from rotate.aprs.net. Like to figure out why the servers are missing some of the uploads. I haven't tried 5 minutes yet. May try that to see what happens but don't want to keep it at 5 minutes if I send it over the air later. Thanks for the suggestion.

That's a good suggestion. I'll try that.

Can you list the info you put into the setup box.

Wind Speed: 10 min average
I'm testing with cwop.aprs.net right now but I will need to use rotate.aprs.net

Silly question but I gotta ask. You do have it set to enable.
All your other info matches mine.

It is enabled. If it was disabled none of the uploads would be reaching the servers.

Little more than year ago there was same problem.
It was like this.
cwop.aprs.net is not one server. It can be redirected to one of 7 servers.
Not all servers has the same software.
Problem was in password.
It was "-1 ver WiFiLogger"
should be "-1 vers WiFiLogger"
It can be also -1, but 3/7 servers were rejecting "-1 ver" - so there was no upload, but sometimes it was good.
CWOP as I know, but it is not have to be truth. They would like to have 5 min. interval.
Please use
http://YOURS_WFL_IP/debug
to check answer from CWOP servers. It will help to solve your problem.

N3FWE,
Seems like it didn't skip as beat uploading to cwop.aprs.net servers for the 3 hours you tested. But that was still at 15 minute intervals.
Wojtek,
I don't see how the explanation about the password needing to be "-1 vers WiFiLogger" has anything to do with rotate.aprs.net which doesn't use the -1 password.

galfert,
After I tested with cwop.aprs.net I went back to rotate.aprs.net and selected just one of the servers in the rotation and just entered that in the setup. It went thru the night without missing a beat. I'll do more testing with rotation.aprs.net later So for now I will just use that sever.
Wojtek,
Looks like something similar is happening here rotate.aprs.net Rotate.aprs.net has nine servers it passes the traffic to. I tried the debug and I can see the good response with the single server I'm using right now. Very handy tool! I will have to go back and try rotate.aprs.net with the debug to find the bad server. Maybe a timeout or my APRS password is being rejected on one of the servers.
