Davis IIS --> Meteobridge not rebroadcasting forecast & ET?
« on: December 18, 2023, 11:17:49 AM »
I have a Davis Vantage Pro2 Plus with UV & Solar Sensors.
The console will display the forecast & ET values.

I'm retransmitting the data to a Meteobridge Pro.
Currently running Meteobridge 5.7 (Nov 19 2023, build 15115), FW 1.4
Configured for the Davis as primary station, IIS sensors on transmitter 2.

I can get readings back from the Meteobridge for almost everything I try including sol0rad.
But I can't get any sol0evo value

forecast-rule always returns -1

Doesn't matter if I'm pushing data to my web site or if I'm using direct CGI requests.

I thought I should be able to get the forecast and ET values from the Meteobridge.
Am I missing something in the Meteobridge config or with the Davis Console?
Or since the MB manuals says forecast works for a Davis Vantage but doesn't mention Vantage Pro2, does it not work for the Pro2?

Any suggestions on what's going on would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Thanks
I have solar radiation, but not evapotranspiration.
I don't see any place to add it as another sensor.

I never added anything. When I upgraded the ISS to have the sun sensors, it started showing up on the WiFi Logger. And it is visible on MB.

I don't see it on any place I upload to though.

Forecast & ET values is only available from a directly connected Console/Envoy as these are a specific function of the Console. An MBPro connected to sensors via RF only receives the sensor data, retransmitting from a console (via RF) is the same as RF direct from the ISS proper.

Thank you.  That explains it.
