Record high maximum temperature

New all time record high maximum temperature 95.5F on July 13 2023 measured with Davis FARS with 12V DC 80mm fan 44CFM. The average wind speed was only 2 Knots. Soon after this a severe thunderstorm with very frequent lightning strikes  occurred and the temperature plunged to 74 F. The prior record high maximum temperature was 95.3 F June 24, 2019.

95.5 here in July would just be another hot summer day.  It only quite recently got over a 100.
