Wind direction errors on VP2, redux.

I have a Davis, Vantage Pro 2, and it developed a problem in reporting wind direction.  Started out showing only NW to N, then just N...  I asked here, and some kind folks suggested a number of items.  All of which pointed to the sensor on the arm of the ISS.  It struck me that the issue might just be a bit of corrosion on one of the connectors.  I gave the cable a decent pull, and all is working now... So...  Next clean up, (probably in a month or so), I will clean all connectors, and jacks, then add dielectric grease and reconnect all.  Just wanted to thank everyone for the suggestions and the help.
