Title: Odd new interference
Post by: 92merc on August 05, 2014, 02:41:43 PM
I had some thing crop up this morning that's never happened to me before.  Last night, everything was working fine.

Now all day, my signal looks like the attached.  The red line is steady and above the green area.  But it's not in interference mode.  I've never had anything like this before.

Looking at the signals page, there isn't a single band that is high.  But the whole spectrum is reading high.  Really strange.

Blue is "sent", Red is "received" and Green is "good" according to the legend for the graph. I have been seeing something similar recently, where the blue/sent is continuously at full scale, and the red/received will flatline like yours for extended periods of time. Green/good however had ups and downs.

I am in full automatic.

I wonder if this is some kind of new server control. I had noticed this behavior recently too, but didn't really give it much thought until you brought it up.

Well, if that's the case, I'll jack up to my usual settings for this time of day and see what happens.  I currently don't have much for storms near me.  Worst case is I go interference.

Sure, now that you said you've seen that too, I go to my controller and it's gone.  Display is normal.  I'm back to running 10x10 with no issues.

So your guess of something server side is probably right.  It had me second guessing myself, that's for sure.

Thanks.
