I had a 5-in-1 since January of '16 that worked well for me. It was on a PVC pole mounted at the peak of my garage. I used heavy monofilament fishing line for guy lines since the PVC was so whippy.
This winter one of the guy lines broke and before I had a chance to repair it a cold, windy day broke the pole. The sensor was destroyed.
I was going to just buy a new 5-in-1 sensor, but when I saw the Atlas had the option to remote the windy bits I decided to upgrade. I took the opportunity to make a major upgrade on my mount arrangement too. I'm a mechanical engineer and I have a 3D printer. I used the printer to make some parts to add support and adjustment to my cantilevered mount to the house. I used 1-1/2" and 1" aluminum tubing for the tower. The guy lines are fine stainless steel cable (fishing leader material). I used the 3D printer to make the parts I needed at all the tubing transitions. The wire from the remote runs down the tube and then back up to the sensor. I have a PVC union in the pole so I can get the sensor down for service/cleaning when needed.
The 5-in-1 met its demise on 1/14. Got the Atlas up and running today.
