WMR200 console issue

I had used a WMR200 to upload to WU for years through VWS and weather display.   A problem I started having a few years ago was the loss of radio signal from sensors when connecting consoles to PCs. Worked great for years. I have purchased two other units off the internet at various times and they do the same thing. It is not sensor related as I also have 2 separate WMR86 as additional display units and they always maintain contact. I have attempted connection to another pc and laptop, same result. Sometimes they will work for hours or days, sometimes instantaneously when you plug in the USB cord. Once the signal is lost you must disconnect the usb for a successful sensor scan.
