Title: Export data to Excel
Post by: Guillaume_67370 on October 31, 2020, 09:05:00 AM
Hello,

I want to export data from each day into an XLS file. What is the procedure ?
If i use dayfile.txt it isn't any title it's only the data, so we don't know which data correspond to which parameters...

Thanks for your help
Regards

The files dayfileheader.txt and monthlyfileheader.txt located in your Cumulus folder have the header description text that you would need to include or add to your import file as the titles.

Enjoy,
Paul

If I recall correctly from years ago, Steve did have some Cumulus French translations some ware.  Can't recall what all was translated.  Possibly a search on the Cumulus forum or WiKi may show something.
Or you could get each title translated by a bilingual person (not me) and then create an identical file but with French headings.

Enjoy,
Paul

Creating an XLS file from Excel is an easy task. It's also a very handy way to share your data with others. That's because XLS files are compatible with Microsoft Excel and OpenOffice Calc, meaning that anyone with either program can open the file and view its contents. There are two main ways to create an XLS document, both of which involve exporting your data from Excel to a new file. You can read more (https://www.coupler.io/excel-integrations/asana-to-excel) in this article. The first method is to use the File menu and choose Export. The second way is to right-click on any worksheet tab in the workbook, select Save As, and choose the XLS option from the drop-down menu.

you can do this yourself  8-) - take the dayfileheader.txt and monthlyfileheader.txt from ..\CumulusMX and translate them
you can use www.deepl.com - works perfectly and with high quality
As you are probably French you can cross-check the translations yourself too ...

tu peux le faire toi-même 8-) - Prends les fichiers dayfileheader.txt et monthlyfileheader.txt de ..\CumulusMX et traduis-les.
tu peux utiliser www.deepl.com - fonctionne parfaitement et de haute qualité
Comme tu es probablement Français, tu peux aussi vérifier les traductions toi-même...  ;)

Maybe the file content is different with Cumulus 1.9.4 - the above is for CumulusMX 3.2.1
But the principle remains the same - and already Cumulus 1.9.4 should have had these header files
