Title: About the Acurite 08525/08535 Portable Weather Radio

I Wanna know what the True Distance of the Acurite 08525 or 08535 (what the Manual say it is). I Am Able to Reach Fond Du Lac, WI station on channel 5, and that is Pretty Far away from where I Live. But My Question is: How Far can It Reach?/How Far is it Able to reach?

Lots of variables, but you should expect (at most) about 40 miles from the transmitting station.

In some remote areas you may need a better antenna to reach distant stations.

I Live Allegan, Michigan Though. So it goes Pretty Far. I Don't know why I Can Pick up some stations that are far away Pretty Clearly.
