Topic: cheap weather stations on ebay from China..

I made the mistake of moving to an apartment that there's no way to use my Acurite 3in1.  and even though I plan to move when I can, which is on hold due to a leg injury and the covis stuff, it's driving me crazy not having a working weather station, so I've thinking about one of the cheap ones on ebay from China. the doesn't have the wind speed so I could just hang the outdoor sensor out a window on a fishing line.

So here's the cheapest ones on ebay that has an outdoor sensor, I'm wondering if anybody has any experience with them or can recommend something with similar features.  I don't expect anything amazing, just simple cheap, and works reasonably well.

I can't imagine not having a PWS...but personally, never in a million years now.

You get what you pay for on eBay. That been said I would get one with the best reviews and hopefully they are all valid reviews.  There are a few venues to look for since you are located in Canada.  Home Hardware has had then on sale recently and there are numerous other places too.  Kijiji had a whole lot - new ones - in the Ontario region - Toronto - in particular.
Prices were good for brand names.

Nothing locally (Chatham-Kent area) on kijiji, but that's not surprising around here.  I've been watching for a few years  for a couple certain cb radios and not one has been on there)
 But I can take a look at Home Hardware and Canadian Tire when i make my grocery run tomorrow.  I see that Acurite has one that can report out to Weather Underground, but that's $50US plus shipping,  and a lot more in C$.. tempting in a way, since I have no idea if the next place I go would have a good what to mount my 3in1..

Check out AliExpress (direct from China).  Post is generally pretty cheap and some prices look unbelievable.  I have bought heaps of stuff from here and only had minor issues.  My Misol (Fine Offset) station came from AliEx and was half the price of anywhere else.  Only problem is freight time.  To NZ can be 2 to 6 weeks.  Sometimes its quick, sometimes its not, but it is what it is and I save heaps.   (If RF is used, it is generally 433MHz)
