Weatherdisplay Forecast Download from a NOAA server hasn't worked for a long time.

The old server was ftp://tgftp.nws.noaa.gov/data/forecasts/zone/nc/ that site hasn't worked
very for a longtime.

I found where NOAA moved it to. the new address is: https://tgftp.nws.noaa.gov/data/forecasts/zone/nc/
This is for my state of North Carolina so you would have to find your state and zone.

Maybe Brian who makes Weatherdisplay can fix this. It was a feature I used but since it hasn't worked
in a very long time, I haven't been able to use this feature.

Weatherdisplay is set up to use a ftp site to download the forecast but since NOAA moved it to a https site
that will not work in Weatherdisplay FTP Weather Report/Warning/Forecast Download from a NOAA Server control panel.

Well, thought I found the new link, but when I go to it it's still showing old data from 2022.
I have the new link on my computer and when I go to it, it shows the current forecast. Well, just
clicked on the new link here and it worked. I'm not that good at this webpage stuff but I try. So, I don't know.

Do you have the proper zone code? Mine has been working fine.  There may have been some changes to the zone codes over time.  Goto https://alerts.weather.gov/  click on Land Areas with zones then Public Zones for your state.  Then add your zone in the Forecast Download.

You may have to update to the latest version of WD.  Brian made some updates last December that address the NOAA forecast problem, as referenced in this Weather-Watch post:

Updated to latest Weathedisplay today 6-27-35 at 11:58 am est.
Put in the correct zone for my location. Says it downloaded ?
But I'm not seeing any current file. My file is name is ncz052.txt
and should be in the download folder of Weatherdisplay but not seeing
any file by that name. I've included pic of my settings also the ftp log.

On the set-up page, you may need to click “Add to List” just below the “File to Download” box with the ncz052.txt.
