New station soon in Chula Vista, CA (near San Diego)
« on: August 22, 2014, 05:16:34 PM »
Hi folks,

earlier this year I sent out a bunch of mails to potential participants and invited them to participate in the Blitzortung network. Now I got an answer from a guy from Chula Vista, CA who has already ordered a kit. I invited him to join this forum, too.

cu Robo :)

Thanks Robo...  I've been a lurker for a long time on this forum (though not to this board, usually hiding in the HobbyBoards and 1-wire boards), but finally got around to registering and posting.  Ordered the kit today and should get it sometime in September.  Just recently built the MightyOhm geiger counter to add to my site, and will need to put this one together, but look forward to getting it running.

Welcome from Cincinnati, OH!!!!

Building the RED Kit is a lot of fun..... if you take your time.  There are always folks on this forum willing to help and are VERY good.

Joe

Welcome from Minden, Nevada!

Yikes, it looks like Mexico will have better coverage than the western US before too long...  ](*,)
