Hi -- looking for some info about the FWI/Fire weather index computation.

There's an equation in the Alt-Dashboard 6 javascript.

liveFWI   = 2*Math.exp(-0.45+0.987*Math.log(10, 2.71828183)-0.0345*humidity+0.0338*temp+0.0234*wind);1) Does anyone know the source of this equation.  I've found general info about how FWI is computed and the various models for the parts of the process, but never found an equation.  Source anyone?

2) Can anyone confirm units for this.  I guess temp is C, but not sure about windspeed.
