Hi

You can set the threshold in Settings. Login as Admin > Block Setup >Current >Settings

Gert

I use the station warning notification icon for the current block.  For the dew point the icon shows up fairly often in the summer.  There's not a threshold which you can specify in the main setup, but I would like to set it up so the icon doesn't show until a slightly higher dew point.

Thanks,

John

Just noticed that clicking "More" no longer shows more information, but takes you to the Met Offices site.
is this accidental? if not then i think maybe removing the "More" button....

No it is not accidental. It shows more information about the warning, the warning on the page only shows you the level, type and affected areas, whereas the main Metoffice page shows detailed info about the warning. The more button is set to open the link in a new tab so your page stays opened.
I included it because the MetOffice page includes much more detailed info

Yes, but that is no longer possible so I thought this is better than nothing.

Not sure why you want to do that since it is IMO very useful. The details are quite useful to know and so since it is not possible to view directly on your page I think it is good to allow the user to read the info elsewhere. If you want your users to get detailed info and useful data then keep it, if you are only interested in them visiting your page as such, remove it...

The last thing a site owner should want is to send their visitors to another site, as you can see from my main site that this extra info is
available http://www.brecklandweather.com/  so i will have a go copying that :)

Depends how you look at it. For me personally it is more important to provide full info rather then being "selfish" and only limiting them to my own site, especially in cases where it is the national service page. Do whatever works for you, just make sure you do not use the v1 script of the Warnings block, it showed the extra info, but it is no longer supported and I would strongly advise you not to use it.

Im not overly sure we should be calling names really, im far from being selfish, the visitor has a choice. to
look at my site or go elsewhere, i dont want to be pushing/sending them away from my site, i want them
to find all the information they require, i will try to provide a diverse range of that information.
Kind regards

It is actually a very strange approach because if everyone applied that logic, then there would be no internet, there would be no search engines etc. Why? Because what you are basically suggesting is that any external link is basically bad or undesirable. I guess your "internet" would then be called "intronet" :D Everyone uses external links.

Yes I agree with that, however the block I made does not have that info (i.e. not all info is there) so including a link to this info seemed like a logical thing to do.

Hello Jáchym
When I call the chart in the report, for example the temperature over the icon, the window remains empty.

http://wetter-lehmschlenke.de/template/pages/station/reportDaily.php?d=06&m=07&y=2017

Veileicht last update not I copied everything. I noticed it very late that it does not work.

Greeting juppie

Hi,
I think this is an issue with the language file. I remember I fixed that already, try updating your de.php and let me know if it helped.

Hmmm, Im looking at your page and from the Console, I am 99.9% sure the problem is in the language file.

Try temporarily changing the language to eg. English and see if it helps. Then switch back to German. If this helps then I would try once more uploading the new de.php because I remember this issue and I remember fixing it and people telling me it works now. I also just checked the language database and I can see it should be fixed.

OK I tried it and in English it works, so it must be a problem with the de.php. I actually see the problem and know exactly what is causing it, but I am 99.9% sure I fixed that and I double checked that in the language database now. Please try again downloading de.php and then making absoltuely sure the FTP upload went ok, I would delete the lang/de.php first and then upload the new one, sometimes just overwriting it might not work correctly. Let me know if it still does not work.

Hi Jachym,
just a question about gfs Block.
Is it possible to choice which type of data or chart shows on block?
Because actually block show mandatory temperatures meteogram.
Thanks to advance,

Alessandro
