Thats correct, I never offered anyone help with installing visitor count. I implemented GA and if people want to use something else - fine, but I dont want to have anything to do with it.

If you thought this script is not saving everything and logging personal info (and partly showing it even directly on your site) you are wrong...

You would need to change the HTML directly, it is not possible to do from the control panel and I would not recommend doing this because then everytime you update that block your changes will be lost.

I added the Italian translations now so you can download updated Italian language file.

And with regards to your visits page:
Think about it this way:
- there will be people like me who will have a problem with it and dont like it
- and then there will be people who dont care

But I doubt anyone will visit your page to see who else visited your page  ](*,). Which means it has absolutely no added value, it can only piss off people or they will not care, but I cannot imagine anyone enjoying looking at this.

Jachym,
for me you're exaggerate this thing.
I don't really care if i have visited a site with a counter or similar script.

The important thing is the site doesn't recorder me when i make love with my wife and it publics the video on internet
The rest is not important for me, there are worse things out of there that a damn script.

About icon.
Ho to recall a particular icon on that link through html?
should i use mticon- or fa fa- )

It is also possible to setup the whos-online script so only the operator can see the details rather than each visitor by password protecting the page.  That might be a better option.

Jachym,
about warningEU block.
If you give me an eye here: http://www.meteopistoia.it (without goes to whosonline page!  ), does warnignEU block work as it should?
Shouldn't it open meteoalarm map as well as text warnings?
Thanks in advance for your help,

Alessandro

Hi,
the EU warnings block is not working as it should - this block was always problematic and occasionally not working since meteoalarm often does not update their XML feed where the data comes from, or the feed is completely down. It always works for a while, then not and then works again.

Alessandro which icon do you want to use?  Send me the namespace of it and I will tell you what code to use and where to insert it in the block

Hi Jachym,
other thing.
I've seen that current data block on mobile view isn't align correctly.
Please, look the image attached.
Is it possible to make icons side by side instead of along a unique column?
Thanks in advance,

Alessandro

Hi,
no this is exactly why I used dynamic div elements, so that they adjust to small screen sizes and instead of being horizontal, they show up vertically, if I make them horizontal it would be useless because they would be tiny. This is how I wanted it to be.

One other point - this is exactly why I created the mobile version, where you can use just one column which will be wider, there is no point in having a mobile version if you make it the same as the desktop

for the bolt, you can replace the html of the image with:

Code: [Select]
<span class="fa fa-bolt"></span>

Meteotemplate - New Year´s present - New Plugin - Calendar

New Year´s present - New Plugin - Calendar

Hi guys,

I just released a new plugin - sort of a present for you from me for the new year :-)

After years of trying (no, this is not a joke, I was trying to accomplish this already when I had my own page and there was no Meteotemplate), I have finally managed to successfully create scripts that generate fully functional PDF documents, which obviously are great if you want to print something and view it physically not just in a browser on a monitor.

I am releasing this a few days in advance because in case there are any bugs we can still work on it further and you can of course expect this PDF feature now being gradually implemented in other parts of the template as well :-)

This plugin allows you to create various PDF calendars - monthly, weekly, daily or a blank diary. These can include your station data as well, you set print/color version, create a booklet version ideal for printing and much more. It will also use your template settings for the colors, first day of the week, units, language etc.

Main features:
- monthly calendar with station data
- weekly calendar with station data
- daily calendar with station data
- blank weekly diary - sunrises/sunsets for your location, eclipses, moon phases etc.
- normal or booklet versions
- color or black/white (for print) versions
- units based on template settings, colors based on template settings, first day of the week based on template settings
- paper size selection (A4, Letter)
- language based on template settings
- and much more :-)

You do not need to set up this plugin in any way, just upload to your plugins directory. Then update your menu.php and in your menu settings add a link to this new plugin.

NOTE: PDFs in general are very difficult to work with and also quite demanding so please be patient, the calendar generation may take a while and so that you are not bored I implemented a script which will show you a random interesting fact while you are waiting for your calendar to be created :-)

In particular it is likely that the calendar script will be very slow on my server since many of you are likely to look at the same time.

ENJOY!

I have it installed but it is a little confusing:
The year 2016 already has the data for Dec 29, 30 and 31 - how does it know?
The year 2016 summary is not for 2016 but looks like all time Max/Min.

Yes, each day in the calendar always shows the average for that day and the absolute min/max for that day.

Just to clarify - this is not like a yearly report. This is for printing for the upcoming year and you then always see what was in general in the past for that day. It is not a report.
