How do you know it is a Cumulus MX issue and not the anemometer hardware or the console of the station? That WH1080 must be getting up there in years and maybe it should be replaced. How long have you had it? And has it ever been serviced? When was the last time you changed the batteries? The WH1080 is known for sometimes getting its memory messed up from time to time and needs to be cleared. I've seen other people complain about the same thing and the were running WeeWx with their old WH1080. That is why i think the culprit is not Cumulus MX.

The records received by Cumulus from the station are kept in the various xxx.ini files in your \data folder.  Unlike Cumulus 1, in CumulusMX you will need to edit that erroneous data manually in those files (with CumulusMX stopped).

You may also want to edit the Jul19log.txt log file, as well as dayfile.txt if the bad data shows up there after the midnight rollover.

You might consider setting the Spike Removal in the Calibration Settings to eliminate unreasonable data coming from the station.

Enjoy,
Paul
