rain gauge resetting at noon instead of midnight

After about 2 weeks of use my ambient station started resetting rain amount at noon instead of midnight, probley a simple setting but I dont know what any ideas

It might help if you stated what model ambient station and console you have.

2902D worked correctly first few weeks now resets at rain amount at noon instead of midnight tks for any input

I don't have an ambient.  Have you read the manual re: settings?  Helped me a lot, both with the Davis's, my software, and the web template settings... might try that... might also discover some other interesting things...  I suppose you could also, maybe, possibly, have any Lat and Long settings screwy, thinks it's in a different hemisphere??? Or simply have your clocks set wrong???
